Job Outlook & Statistics
Many interested in real-estate ask, "Is real-estate worth getting into?"
The truth in that answer honestly is dependent on the individual. If you have read the previous pages, and feel you possess the qualities needed to be a successful agent, and you're willing to put in the time and effort to reach this success, then the answer is a definite - YES.
According to the BLS, real-estate as an occupation is expected to grow by 11%, which is about as fast as average. However, some who have worked within the market closely believe job outlook within real-estate is approaching an extreme high, as "baby-boomer" agents will soon be retiring, leaving a large array of clientele in need of new agents to meet their needs.
